My Thoughts on…the Westin Tampa Bay

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Joe and I decided to meet up in Tampa for the Cowboys/Bucs game at Raymond James Stadium. This was especially fun because he’s a Bucs fan and I’m a Cowboys fan. Plus, I knew it would be a blast to hang out with an NYC buddy.

I bought the tickets, so Joe said I could crash at his hotel (separate beds, of course). We ended up staying at the Westin Tampa Bay, which was PERFECT. I’m a big fan of Starwood hotels, so I knew it would be a comfy, classy joint (as per usual with all their hotels). Plus, it’s located right off the causeway, which is convenient to Tampa, St. Pete, and Clearwater. 

The photo above was taken from the hotel website, but this is pretty much exactly what our room looked like. Bay view. Flat screen. Ample room. Plus, the staff was friendly (and prompt in bringing us our beers at the bar downstairs). So bottom line, I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. And should you find yourself in the Tampa area, you should too.
