The holiday season is upon us. And if you’re like me, you’re starting to think about what to get other people for Christmas (or whatever appropriate holiday). I usually end up scouring magazines and the Internet for inspiration. You know, gift guides and what not. But I realized, I actually know a few amazing people that have some pretty great stuff to offer. So, I’m sharing with you.

The first (of many posts to come) is my friend Beth’s BShorr Handmade line of amazing knit & crochet pieces. Whether it’s a warm hat, a fuzzy scarf, or a one of a kind pillow for your couch, Beth has it all. Above are just a few of my favorite pieces, but she has even more to offer. If I didn’t live in South Florida (where the average temperature is at least 80 degrees), I’d be rocking the Chabotski hat right now.

my fantasy christmas list

i’ll let you in on a little secret: i love buying gifts for other people. i love gifting something that makes someone smile, even if only for a moment, which is one of the MANY reasons i love christmas time. unfortunately, i won’t be able to spend the holidays with my family this year, but i’ve started my shopping in hopes of sending them a little holiday cheer.

as for my christmas list, at 29 years old, i feel a little too old to technically have a “christmas wish list”, but my parents spoil me and my brother and insist that we send them a list every year. so, if it weren’t for the price tags on these items, here are the things i would ask santa for:

reebok easytone reinspire shoes- MSRP $99.98. i’ve seen the commercial for these shoes a hundred times the last few weeks and let me tell you, they have me sold. “get a better butt and better legs with every step…thanks to patented sole technology, which emulates walking on sand”.
