3. Tai USA Lavender-Scented Drawer Liners ($15)
4. Essie Main Squeeze Polish ($8)

And to make any of the above gifts even sweeter, throw in a tube of reader Susannah’s The Lipper Lavender Balm (I am OBSESSED with this stuff – I brought it to the hospital because I heard that your lips got very dry during delivery, and it didn’t leave my side the entire time).
Gift Wrap Idea: Wrap the present itself in some brown paper, and use twine to attach a tube of balm and a dried lavender sprig alongside the gift tag.
I LOVE lavender…maybe you or someone you know does too.
One of the sports writers I follow on Twitter travels a lot, so it’s no wonder that he would find such an amazing and comfortable piece of clothing that’s ALSO tech savvy! I speak of the Burton Premium Sleeper Full Zip Hoodie, which is available for both women (link above) and men.
Ok, so the $99 MSRP is a little steep. But it has: internal pockets, an inflatable neck pillow(!), a sleep mask(!), headphone cable port, toothbrush and ear plugs, and MORE! A must for someone who is a frequent flyer. For my other gift ideas, click here.
The holiday season is upon us. And if you’re like me, you’re starting to think about what to get other people for Christmas (or whatever appropriate holiday). I usually end up scouring magazines and the Internet for inspiration. You know, gift guides and what not. But I realized, I actually know a few amazing people that have some pretty great stuff to offer. So, I’m sharing with you.
The first (of many posts to come) is my friend Beth’s BShorr Handmade line of amazing knit & crochet pieces. Whether it’s a warm hat, a fuzzy scarf, or a one of a kind pillow for your couch, Beth has it all. Above are just a few of my favorite pieces, but she has even more to offer. If I didn’t live in South Florida (where the average temperature is at least 80 degrees), I’d be rocking the Chabotski hat right now.
Be sure to visit her site here or find her on Twitter @bshorrhandmade.
Attention all foodies & dessert lovers! My amazing and talented friend Serena opened up her e-tail store “Bon Bons by Serena”. Based out of Austin (but can mail anywhere!), they are perfect for parties & holiday gifts!
What a FANTASTIC gift idea. Anything that’s personalized is a win for me.

Love these ideas.
i’ll let you in on a little secret: i love buying gifts for other people. i love gifting something that makes someone smile, even if only for a moment, which is one of the MANY reasons i love christmas time. unfortunately, i won’t be able to spend the holidays with my family this year, but i’ve started my shopping in hopes of sending them a little holiday cheer.
as for my christmas list, at 29 years old, i feel a little too old to technically have a “christmas wish list”, but my parents spoil me and my brother and insist that we send them a list every year. so, if it weren’t for the price tags on these items, here are the things i would ask santa for:
reebok easytone reinspire shoes- MSRP $99.98. i’ve seen the commercial for these shoes a hundred times the last few weeks and let me tell you, they have me sold. “get a better butt and better legs with every step…thanks to patented sole technology, which emulates walking on sand”.
